In 2021 The Parkway will be reborn, complete with a built-in cannabis retail store. Future plans will continue this transformation with the addition of a consumption lounge, community art space, kitchen, and live entertainment venue.

The Parkway Theatre, in Oakland's Ivy Hill neighborhood, first opened in 1925 and was a cultural hub for over 80 years. After sitting vacant for over a decade, a total overhaul was needed to bring life back to this neighborhood gem - take a peek inside at the ongoing renovation work.

On Feb.17th the Oakland City Planning Commission reviews our proposal to bring the crowds back to the Parkway Theater. We need your help to the support the efforts to re-open the Parkway Theater with a restored look and a revised sense of purpose.
This ruling is crucial for our plans to include movie showings and other community events.
